1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all products and services provided by Metorox Software LLC ("Metorox," "we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to SaaS applications, web hosting, custom software, and digital marketing services.

This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using any Metorox product or service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Metorox products or services to:

2.1 Illegal Activities

Engage in any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
Facilitate, promote, or encourage illegal activity of any kind.
Process, store, or transmit data in violation of applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations).
Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions violations.

2.2 Harmful Content

Host, distribute, or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, threatening, or harassing.
Distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors.
Promote violence, hate speech, discrimination, or terrorism.
Distribute content that infringes on intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.

2.3 Security Violations

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, account, or data.
Distribute viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or any other malicious code.
Conduct port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing against our infrastructure without prior written authorization.
Intercept, monitor, or forge communications not intended for you.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any Metorox software.

2.4 Network Abuse

Launch denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or participate in such attacks.
Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), phishing emails, or spoofed communications.
Operate open relays, open proxies, or Tor exit nodes on our infrastructure.
Consume excessive resources that negatively impact other users or the stability of our services.

2.5 Misuse of Services

Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Metorox services without explicit written authorization.
Use our services to build a competing product or service.
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using our services.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access our services in a manner that exceeds normal usage patterns without prior approval.
Circumvent any usage limits, quotas, or access controls.

3. SaaS Product-Specific Rules

In addition to the general prohibitions above, users of our SaaS products must:

Not use the ticketing system to send bulk unsolicited communications.
Not store sensitive payment card data within ticket content (use secure payment processors instead).
Maintain appropriate access controls for staff accounts.

CurtainCall Ticketing

Not use the platform to sell tickets for events that violate any applicable laws.
Comply with PCI-DSS requirements when handling payment information.
Not engage in ticket scalping or fraudulent ticket sales through our platform.
Ensure all event listings are accurate and not misleading.

Web Hosting

Not host content that violates copyright or intellectual property laws.
Not use hosting resources for cryptocurrency mining without prior approval.
Maintain reasonable resource usage within your plan's limits.
Keep all hosted software and plugins updated to address known security vulnerabilities.

4. Resource Usage

Our services are designed for normal business use. We reserve the right to limit or throttle usage that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be excessive or abusive. This includes but is not limited to:

Excessive API calls that degrade service performance for other users.
Storage usage significantly beyond the norms for your subscription tier.
Bandwidth consumption that impacts shared infrastructure.
Running computationally intensive processes not related to the intended use of the service.

If your usage exceeds normal levels, we will contact you to discuss upgrading your plan or optimizing your usage before taking any restrictive action.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Enforcement

Metorox reserves the right to take any action we deem appropriate in response to violations of this AUP, including but not limited to:

Warning: Issuing a formal warning and requesting immediate corrective action.
Suspension: Temporarily suspending access to services until the violation is resolved.
Termination: Permanently terminating your account and access to all services.
Content Removal: Removing or disabling access to content that violates this policy.
Legal Action: Pursuing legal remedies, including reporting to law enforcement when appropriate.

The severity of our response will depend on the nature and severity of the violation, whether it is a first or repeat offense, and the potential harm to other users or third parties. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect our services or users.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
