How Per-Ticket Fees Work
Per-ticket platform fees are charged on top of your monthly plan fee. They decrease at higher tiers. Stripe/Square payment processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) always apply separately and go directly to your payment processor — not to Metorox.
Enterprise plans have $0 per-ticket platform fees — you only pay the monthly flat rate plus payment processing.
ROI Example: Professional Plan
Here's what a typical school production looks like on the Professional plan ($89/mo):
| Production: 4 nights × 200 seats = 800 tickets | |
| Average ticket price | $12 |
| Gross revenue | $9,600 |
| Professional plan ($89/mo) | −$89 |
| Per-ticket fee ($0.50 × 800) | −$400 |
| Stripe processing (2.9% + $0.30) | −$518 |
| Net revenue to your theatre | $8,593 |
| Platform fee as % of revenue | 5.3% |
Compare this to Ticketmaster, which charges $3–$15+ per ticket in service fees. On 800 tickets at $5/ticket average, that's $4,000 in fees vs. $489 with CurtainCall Professional. The plan pays for itself on the first production.
